At Servol Community Services, we provide 24-hour staffed, non-restrictive, flexible living environments for those experiencing mental health illness across the West Midlands and London. 

Birmingham Services

Janet Fay House, Moseley

Residential Care Home
Rooms: 9 CQC Rating: Good (See report)

We work in partnership with Accord Housing Association, to support people experiencing or recovering from mental health problems.

The service users are generally individuals who have acute long term mental health problems and require support from staff to assist with key life skills on the service users’ recovery or managing their mental health journey.

These homes provide the opportunity to provide longer term support with a view of transitioning to supported accommodation where possible.

This service is staffed 24 hours per day.

School Road, Moseley

Semi-independent Supported Housing

Flats: 9

School Road is a supported living provision containing nine self-contained flats for both male and female service users living with mental health problems.

The service provides accommodation and support with the purpose of enabling service users’ to further develop the skills and capacity to live independently in the community. The service works with service users in agreed ways, based upon a person-centred support plan using the Outcomes Star recovery model with flexibility to be determined by the needs of each individual.

This service is staffed 24 hours per day.

Summerfield Crescent & Gillott Road, Edgbaston

Intermediate Supported Service & Crisis and Respite Centre

Rooms: 11

The aim of the service is to prevent the need for hospital admission or facilitate early discharge from hospital back into the community.

This service looks to accommodate those who have been placed out of area and require accommodation in the service users own place of origin. 

This service provides the users with respite intervention in order to avoid hospitalisation and/or loss of housing. We work with both the service user and their clinical team in reviewing individual progress and identifying further support needs that can be met whilst residing at our services.

These two properties are gender split to male and female units that are located in the same street. We have 11 rooms, some with en suite.

This service is staffed 24 hours per day.

Alcester Road South, Maypole

Semi-independent Supported Housing

Flats: 9

Alcester is a supported living provision containing nine self-contained flats for both male and female service users living with mental health problems.

The service provides accommodation and support with the purpose of enabling service users’ to further develop the skills and capacity to live independently in the community. The service works with service users in agreed ways, based upon a person-centred support plan using the Outcomes Star recovery model with flexibility to be determined by the needs of each individual.

This service is staffed 24 hours per day.

Beech Tree House, Moseley

Residential Care Home (Male service users only)

Rooms: 8
(2 rooms ensuite, other rooms shared bathroom facilities)

The modern and spacious unit is the newest addition to our West Midlands scheme. This unit is staffed 24 hours a day.

London Services

The London services provide service-users with facilities for semi-independent living, enabling them a level of independence with staff available to assist them in their recovery and managing their mental health.

9 Trinity Road, Tooting Bec

High Support Needs Service

Rooms: 13

Our 13-bed en-suite shared communal facility unit, works in partnership with Optivo Housing Association London.

This service provides support to individuals who may have comorbidity issues but primarily the main support is concerning the service users’ mental health recovery.

The referrals received for this service are those who require closer supervision and support.

The accommodation is shared living in relation to communal areas, but each room has its own bathroom facilities.

This service is staffed 24 hours a day with night concierge

51 Bickersteth Road, Tooting

Supported Housing for Medium/High Support Needs

Rooms: 9

The 9 one-bedroom self-contained Bickersteth Road Unit works in partnership with Notting Hill Housing Association.

Bickersteth is a 24hr Supported Housing Scheme for People with enduring mental health medium to high support needs.

The unit is a step-down service with service users occupying a one bedroom flat for individuals who have experienced a long period of mental health problems but with some support are ready to work towards living independently. This project is a short stay 2 year only eventually moving the individual into their own permanent tenancy.

This service is staffed 24 hours per day.

86 Thurleigh Road, Balham

Supporting Housing for Low Support Needs

Flats: 9

The Thurleigh Road supported accommodation unit is a 9 self-contained one-bedroom flat working in partnership with Wandsworth Borough Council to provide medium support for service users who have experienced mental problems.

Thurleigh road offers lower supported accommodation, staffed a certain amount of hours a day and has concierge at nights. This service is staffed 7 days a week with concierge staff during the evenings and weekends.

This project is a short stay 2- 3 year only eventually moving the individual into their own permanent tenancy.

Friends House, 1 Hibbert Street, Battersea 

Supporting Housing for Low Support Needs

Flats: 12

Friend’s House supported accommodation Unit is a 12 one-bedroom flat scheme working in partnership with Wandsworth Borough Council to provide medium support for service users who have experienced mental problems.

This scheme offers lower supported accommodation, staffed a certain number of hours a day and has concierge at nights This service is staffed 7 days a week with concierge staff during the evenings and weekends.

This project is a short stay 2- 3 year only eventually moving the individual into their own permanent tenancy.
