The Phoenix project, at St. Andrews Court, West Bromwich, provides specialist supported accommodation for prison leavers with complex mental health needs.
Located centrally, with good access to community and transport links, this 12-bed site is staffed 24/7, 365 days per year and features person-centred planning and a recovery focused workshop programme.
Two key ambitions underpin this project:
- Support for individuals to develop the skills needed for independent living.
- Creation of sustainable pathways to long term accommodation, education, employment and social activities.
This service is available to adults (18+) who are exiting the criminal justice system and living with a diagnosis of serious mental illness.
